Heather brings both heart and firsthand experience to the True To You Travel Co. team. What began as a friendship within the local homeschooling community—and years of trusting Marissa to plan her family’s vacations—has come full circle as she now helps others create those same meaningful travel experiences.
A Bible-believing, born-again bibliophile (with a love for alliteration), Heather has been married to her husband, Matt, for 23 years. Together, they’ve raised two children, Hannah and Mason, and share a deep love for exploring the world in a variety of ways—from camping in their travel trailer and visiting National Parks to relaxing at all-inclusive resorts.
As both a client and now an advisor, Heather understands the value of thoughtful, well-executed travel planning. Her family’s journeys have included everything from a memorable Walt Disney World vacation with extended family, to a 20th anniversary escape in Montego Bay, and even a once-in-a-lifetime trip across the Hawaiian Islands. Through it all—unexpected changes included—she’s experienced the peace of mind that comes with having a dedicated travel professional advocating every step of the way.

Mexico
There are so many different experiences available here. You could go a million times and never do the same thing twice. Plus the direct flights from my area are a huge bonus.
Jamaica
The people of Jamaica are second to none. Always so friendly and fun! Warning... This will feel like your home away from home ESPECIALLY once you try their Blue Mountain Coffee!
The Bahamas
It all has my heart. The colors of the water, the liveliness of the culture, the proximity to the States making it perfect for a quick getaway.
Disney Parks
There is no better way to enjoy your kids childhood than to take them to Disney Parks! Disney's California Adventure in Disneyland California is my favorite park! Let's talk about which coast is best for your family! You may be surprised.
Caribbean Cruises
Cruising is a fun and stress free way of chasing sunset and enjoying activities! Plus you usually have access to some great beaches for the day and who doesn't need more Vitamin SEA?!
St Lucia
Often described as the Hawaii of the Caribbean, St Lucia is a perfect spot for honeymoons without taking a full day of travel each way.
Turks & Caicos
True Paradise! Crystal clear, warm, calm and stunning waters! My favorite family resort is Beaches Turks & Caicos but there are so many great options. Consider volunteering to walk a shelter dog on the beach with PotCake Pups while there!!
The ABC Islands
Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao! Safe to explore, colorful and calm. These desert islands have the best of both worlds with desert landscapes, tropical beaches and tons of culture!
Universal Parks
Thrill seekers will be at home here. Universal keeps adding all the right touches and their new lands are incredibly immersive! It is typically more affordable than Disney but be sure you have the right help when planning...aka ME!
